A COMPANY THAT HAS ALWAYS CHOSEN TO PROTECT NATURE
Welcome to the world of Nature and Adventure
Explore, climb, paddle, discover and experience the excitement of nature with our full range of outdoor activities. At Expénature, we take you on epic adventures in the heart of nature. Get ready to get off the beaten track and create unforgettable memories.
Committed to protecting the environment
We are proud to promote a sustainable approach to outdoor adventure. We are committed to minimizing our impact on the environment, educating our participants about nature conservation and supporting ecological initiatives.
Passionate Guides for a Significant Adventure
Our guides are not only experts in their respective fields, they are also passionate about the environment. They'll take you off the beaten track, sharing their knowledge of wildlife and nature conservation.
An insect Airbnb with sea view
Insect hotel installed on the base to encourage the installation of "auxiliary" insects such as ladybugs, butterflies, bees, earwigs... to encourage pollination, restore some of the space lost through concreting and also combat harmful insects. A good way of making practical discoveries with the youngest visitors to our activities.
Zero waste meal
A simple gesture to limit single-use packaging and thus limit our consumption of plastics. Gourds, reusable packaging, jars, and for those who don't like potato chips, buy a large packet and repackage it in a reusable box for several picnics.
We no longer know the black garbage can
The company implements selective sorting and composting, and also promotes zero-waste picnics during day trips, training courses and holidays.
Natural ashtrays to reduce cigarette drowning
Putting ashtrays around the structure using recycled cans. One cigarette butt thrown on the ground alone will pollute 500 liters of water, so we avoid smoking even if the whole team is non-smokers. We are committed to providing solutions for those who come to take part in our activities.
We drink the water, not fill the sewers with it.
Water management is a daily problem, especially in our chalky region where it doesn't run off the surface but quickly infiltrates to form underground rivers. To save water, we've installed a flush system on our rinse tank. What's more, you'll never leave with a foul-smelling vest, since we only use products that are naturally disinfectant and have no impact on the sea (essential oils).
A home-made eco-label
In 2005, ExpéNATURE created the ECO Aventure label for sustainable events. The aim is not to be a mere consumer of events, but to give something back by minimizing our carbon footprint during events. Use of reusable markers, no cups or water bottles, only jerry cans, encourage car pooling...
Cars? What's that again?
Company staff come to work on bicycles, scooters, rollerblades and sometimes even with both legs. They prefer this mode of mobility for short journeys (+ or - 20km).
From there, we switch to carpooling and public transport. For outings, almost all our activities are easily reached on foot or by public transport.
I believe I can flyer
Our flyers and corporate communications are printed on recycled paper.
We increasingly use the website and QR codes for all information and booking requests.
Not to mention all the documentation and tools for school outings, which are reusable.
Partner BIOLIT
ExpéNature: Local BioLit relay! BioLit is a network of men and women involved in a participatory science program to observe coastal biodiversity.
our secret recipe: Everyday pedagogy
ExpéNature is a company whose origins lie in the use of activities to support environmental education. Today, more than ever, our supervised outings raise awareness of the fragility of our ecosystems. It's by helping people to discover and understand them that they can learn to protect and preserve them. The environmental presentations offered by our guides to inform our customers about the biodiversity encountered cover a wide range of subjects: fauna, flora, heritage, geology, hydrogeology, pollution, Sustainable Development (EE DD)...
what makes you part of it
And what's your role?
Gentle transport
Take a kayak instead of a shuttle to Ile Verte. Much more fun and for the same price, it's a shame to miss out on the opportunity for memories and freedom.
Favoring rental over purchase
Rather than buying a mask, water shoes or inflatable buoys on the spot because the windows have been left at home, consider renting them.
Picking up litter during activities
Supporting local businesses and services
You have the power to make a difference by choosing companies that respect your ecological values.
Eat seasonal vegetables
This one's a gift
