 Why we don't offer dry hire to professional groups 

At Expénature, we are committed to providing you with a safe experience, supervised by qualified professionals, in compliance with regulations and the requirements of our insurance coverage.

 A question of responsibility and insurance

 What's covered :

• Our Professional Civil Liability (RC PRO) covers you :

  • Dry hire: only in the event of defect or failure of the equipment supplied by us.

  • In supervised activities: if a fault, error or negligence on the part of our instructor causes damage or an accident.

• Our IA (Individual Accident) Customer:

  • Operates exclusively as part of a supervised activity.

  • Covers all types of personal injury accidents, even if we are not at fault.

  • Does not apply to dry rental (unframed).

 What the regulations (and our insurer) say

• As anorganizer of outdoor sporting activities, we are legally obliged to :

  • Supervise groups of minors or professionals to ensure safety.

  • Ensure that activities are carried out in conditions that comply with regulations (equipment, weather, technical level, etc.).

• Our insurance policy excludesPersonal Accident cover in situations where the group is autonomous without a professional supervisor.

 Why it's important to you:

By opting for an activity supervised by our team, you benefit from :

• Full coverage in the event of an accident.

• A qualified professional to ensure the safety of your activity and adapt the route to your group.

• Peace of mind in the face of potential risks (injury, collision, loss, shock, etc.).

 In the case of dry rental (without framing), you take the following risks:

• No personal accident cover for participants.

• Responsibility of the organization involved (employer, volunteer supervisor, group leader).

• No guarantee if the accident is not due to a defect in the equipment.

We ask all participants to be able to swim at least 25m in a pool. We take particular care with people with a fear of water. 

The kayak is a fairly stable craft, and the risk of falling overboard is low. However, it does happen. When this happens, you're in the water for just a few minutes, and the guide helps you back into the boat. 

We always adapt the outings to the group's general abilities. 

Most of the activities are in a discovery format, and therefore accessible to all. 

For the more adventurous, we like to offer more physical alternatives. Conversely, we'll accompany people who are more fearful, or in difficulty. 

We know that cancellations and schedule changes are very common for this kind of event. So you can change the number of participants up to a week before the event. 

However, if the activity has already been paid for in full, we do not issue last-minute refunds.

Don't worry, there are plenty of ways to have a great time. Whether with 20 or 150 people.

For example, you can divide the group and rotate the teams through different activities for even more fun. 

We can also add extra guides to get everyone together at the same time. We have the material available.

However, please note that some activities are carried out with maximum quotas for obvious reasons of space and safety.
