FAQ
Do you have questions ?
How can I book a Kayak for today ?
We invite you to browse our site in the rental section. You’ll be able to reserve what you need directly online, even if it’s only a few minutes away.
Our online system manages the stock of reservations in real time. Don’t hesitate to send us an e-mail or call us after consulting the FAQ, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
What is the minimum age required on a kayak ?
6 years old and knowing how to swim.
We don’t accept rentals to kids and minors without adults on board.
What is the difference between a single and double kayak ?
With a double kayak, there are two of you on the same boat, so it’s more stable and you have more energy to move forward, combining your efforts for a better experience.
A single kayak is less stable, with a much greater risk of overturning. As you’re the only element that sets the kayak in motion, it’s not easy for several people to keep up!
That’s why we advise you, if there are several of you, to take double kayaks.
For your information:
All our “double” kayaks are 3 or 4-person models. However, this is manufacturer marketing, as it’s not possible to paddle with 3 adults without getting in each other’s way. That’s why we only let children aged 6 to 9 ride in the middle.
Main difference between a half day and a full day rental
Half-day kayak tour (3h)
Duration: 3 hours.
Main sights: A quick tour of Ile Verte and Mugel.
Activities: Ideal for those short on time or looking for a quick experience. You’ll have the opportunity to paddle and enjoy the scenery, but without the chance to explore in depth.
Target audience: Perfect for families or groups with young children, or for those who want to try kayaking without committing to a full day.
Full-day kayak tour
Duration: Full day (7h).
Additional visits: In addition to Ile Verte and Mugel, this tour also includes visits to the Figuerolles creeks and Trou du Diable.
Activities: You’ll have time to pause for a picnic, enjoy the beaches and explore the magnificent surrounding scenery in greater depth. It’s an immersive experience that lets you fully appreciate the beauty of the calanques.
Target audience: Ideal for nature lovers, adventurers and those looking for a relaxing day out in the great outdoors.
Conclusion
In summary, the choice between a half-day and a full-day tour depends on your availability and your desires. If you’re looking for a fast-paced experience, opt for a half-day tour. If you want to take full advantage of the calanques and spend a pleasant time exploring, a full day is the best option.
